Competition Rules
AAA Interactive Ltd
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. About These Rules
These competition rules (the "Rules") are the official rules for every competition and showcase run on GenStars, including our website and mobile applications (together, the "Service"). GenStars is operated by AAA Interactive Ltd ("GenStars", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. GenStars is the operator and promoter of record for every competition on the Service.
These Rules form part of our Terms of Service. Where these Rules and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.

2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to hold a GenStars account and take part in free competitions.
- You must be at least 18 years old to pay an entry fee, create a competition with a prize pool, or receive a prize payout.
- Paid competition features (entry fees and prize pools) are currently available only to users located in the United Kingdom. We verify your location and may restrict access to these features. Paid entry is void where prohibited by law.
- Each person may enter with one account only.
3. How to Enter
Competitions are entered through the Service. Some competitions are free to enter; others charge an entry fee. Where a competition charges an entry fee, the fee and any processing fee are shown to you before you pay.
3.1 Invite codes
Some competitions are private and can only be joined with an invite code issued by the competition creator. An invite code controls access to a private competition only. It is not a payment method and never replaces an entry fee. If a private competition charges an entry fee, the fee remains payable after your code is accepted.
3.2 Discount codes
A discount code may reduce an entry fee, up to and including free entry. Any discount is shown to you before payment.
4. How Winners Are Decided
The outcome of every competition is determined by the skill and judgement of participants: performances are scored through weighted voting by judges and experts, and winners are the entrants judged best on merit. Competitions on GenStars are skill-based prize competitions. They are not lotteries, sweepstakes, or gambling, and no outcome is determined by chance.
Results are computed after voting closes and are published in the Service. The number of rounds, elimination format, and any tie-break rules are shown on each competition before it starts.
5. Prizes
5.1 Cash prizes
Entry fees for a prize-pool competition fund that competition's prize pool. GenStars holds the prize pool and distributes it to winners after the competition completes. How the pool is allocated is disclosed on each competition. GenStars is responsible for paying out the cash prizes that it holds. Winners of cash prizes must be at least 18 and may need to connect a payout account before receiving payment.
5.2 Non-cash and custom prizes
A creator may offer non-cash or custom prizes, described within the competition. These prizes are provided by the creator, not by GenStars, and the creator is solely responsible for awarding and delivering them. Any dispute about a non-cash prize is between the winner and the creator who offered it.
Prizes are not transferable and have no cash alternative unless stated otherwise on the competition.
6. Refunds and Cancellation
Entry fees may be refunded where a competition is cancelled or does not take place, or where you withdraw before registration closes, as described to you at the point of entry. Processing fees may be non-refundable. Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method. See section 4.4 of the Terms of Service for full details.
7. Disqualification and Conduct
We may disqualify an entrant, withhold a prize, or remove a competition where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Rules or the Terms of Service, including:
- Manipulating voting or competition results, or attempting to do so.
- Entering with multiple accounts, or colluding to gain an unfair advantage.
- Circumventing, or attempting to circumvent, age or location restrictions.
- Posting content that breaches the acceptable-use rules in the Terms of Service.
If you believe a decision is wrong, contact support@genstars.tv and we will review it.
8. Platform Disclaimer
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in any manner with, any competition on GenStars.
Google LLC is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in any manner with, any competition on GenStars.
Competitions on GenStars are operated and promoted solely by AAA Interactive Ltd. Any questions, comments, or complaints about a competition must be directed to GenStars, not to Apple or Google.
9. Governing Law
These Rules are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
10. Where to Find These Rules
These Rules are available at all times in the GenStars app (Settings, then Legal, then Competition Rules) and on our website at genstars.co/competition-rules. We may update these Rules from time to time; the version in force when a competition opens for entry applies to that competition.
